11:50 a.m. today a Water Boil Advisory was issued for customers on Hillcrest Drive, Hillsideway, & Shellmar Drive. This is due to an emergency repair on the 6 inch water main. It is recommended to “rapid boil” any water used for drinking or cooking purposes. The Water Boil Advisory will be in effect for 24 hours after the water service is restored. Call 374-6864 for any additional information.

The City of Marietta will begin leaf pick-up the week of November 10th. Leaves not at the curb will not be picked up. Leaves can also be dropped off at Buckeye Park, Lookout Park or Indian Acres.

Pursuant to Ordinance 921.15 the placing of grass clippings into the streets, alleys and storm drains is prohibited. The fine is a maximum of $100/day. Greenleaf Compost Farm located at 800 State Route 821, Marietta, offers a free yard waste disposal service for Marietta residents. Please stop by or call the Muskingum Dr. location before taking your clippings/yard waste to the compost farm.
