Gas Aggregation Program 2012
A fixed rate of $4.33 per thousand cubic feet (Mcf) is currently in effect through the October 2013 bill cycle. The rate excludes taxes and fees for services provided by the utility
The unique program also includes an additional discount of $0.10 per thousand cubic feet (Mcf) off the initial commodity price for senior citizens age 65 and older who are the primary owners of their residence. If residents and businesses would like to enroll now, Direct Energy will enroll customers into the current program rate. Residents and small businesses already enrolled don’t have to do anything to enroll in the next term of natural gas aggregation program. All eligible citizens not under contract will automatically be enrolled. Customers who do not want to participate will need to “Opt-Out” of the program. Information regarding how to opt-out of the program will be mailed.
