The Marietta City Board of Health is a public agency supported by taxes and fees. The health department has its basis in Ohio law and serves the City of Marietta. The mission of the Health Department is to develop and maintain an efficient and effective system that will provide for the highest quality of public health services practicable, and to promote and protect the community's physical, mental, social and environmental well being.
