Notice is hereby given that Ordinance No. 358 (22-23) is currently pending before the Marietta City Council. The prayer of said Ordinance is as follows:

An Ordinance to vacate portions of unimproved right-of-way located in the City of Marietta, Washington County, Ohio, known as Ash Avenue; and an Unnamed Alley bordered by Buckeye Avenue, North Hart Street, Elmwood Avenue and Pike Street; being real property owned by Wetz Properties, LLC, as described in Volume 310, Page 1788, Official Records of Washington County, Ohio and declaring an EMERGENCY.

Said Ordinance is now pending before the Marietta City Council and final action thereon, according to law, will be taken on, or after, Thursday December 21, 2023 at 7:30 PM at the Community Center at the Armory, Room 10, 241 Front Street, Marietta, Ohio.

Notice is hereby given that Ordinance No. 358 (22-23) is also pending before the City of Marietta’s Planning Commission, because the requested vacation in Ordinance 358 (22-23) also involves certain requests for variances and special exceptions of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Marietta, Ohio, pertaining to Part Eleven (11) of the Planning and Zoning Code. Chapter 1143 of the Planning and Zoning Code of the City of Marietta, titled “Subdivision Regulations”, are also to be considered for purposes of revising the Plat Map for the 212 Pike Street project, as requested by PKPJ Land Development, LLC.
