Mission of the Marietta Police Department

In accomplishing our mission, the Marietta Police Department is committed to preserve peace and protect the community by means of development of its members through effective, pro-active, positive leadership and training in the delivery of quality police services.

We will be a resource to the community for the education, safety, and welfare of all people. We are as committed to the prevention of crime and the preservation of peace as we are to the solving of crime, thus maintaining order and safety while safeguarding all constitutional rights.
