The City of Marietta would like to invite you to participate in a virtual public meeting. Public input is an important part of the project development process and provides valuable feedback that helps guide decision-making through all phases of development. The city is proposing a multi-phased project to extend sanitary sewer service along State Route 7 North starting at Commerce Drive and running approximately 1.6 miles. This multi-phased project will consist of both force mains and gravity sewer types, including two lift stations. The public meeting will aim to provide project information as well as provide answers to questions from the public in regard to new sewer service.

  • Phase 1 of the project consists of the construction of a sewer mainline from Commerce Drive and continuing approximately 1.6 miles, East, toward Mondo Polymers.
  • Phase 2 of the project consists of design of laterals and spurs associated with the Phase 1 mainline.
  • Phase 3 (future) will consist of further extension (including mainline, laterals, and spurs) from Mondo Polymers to the Polar Service Center.

This project has received partial funding from United States Army Corps of Engineers Section 594 program. As such, close coordination with governmental agencies has been required and performed.
